Evening walks at the beach will be best accompanied by Sunset Stroll IPA. Bright waves of lemon, lime, and calamansi roll in with juicy notes of guava, mango, and sweet red berries. A smooth touch of coconut drifts through, followed by a soft finish of lime leaf and pine.

16 oz. can from Trader Joe's in Tustin. Crystal clear medium yellow with a foamy white head. Pine and juicy fruit hops in the aroma. Both come through in the taste with a good, dry bitterness with notes of grapefruit and pine. Good honey/caramel sweetness to balance this. Body is medium light which with the balanced flavor makes this very drinkable. Finishes dry and slightly sweet with a lasting bitterness on the tongue. Great, light West Coast IPA.

Pizza port beers are reliable, solid, and “good enough” most of the time. This does the trick. WCIPA, with a more earthy hop profile matching a citrusy orange note. Moderately dry and bitter finish.

Clear amber brew with sticky foam in the Duvel nonic. Aromatic with lemon and papaya. Spritzy and sharp on the tongue, medium body. Some sweetness that goes well with the orange and lime flavors. Mango in the finish with a squeeze of lime. The hop list sounds toxic but PP as usual uses some restraint and this is not overly bitter or overly amped up. From the 16 oz can purchased at the supermarket. Glad I still have five more to go! Dated 12/22/25.

Very clear medium gold color topped by a solid 2- finger white head of good duration after pouring into a tall pilsner.Fair amount of sticky lacing. One of their more aggressively bitter IPAs , IMO. Pine with lesser amount of grapefruit dominates smell and flavor. Slightly downgrading the overall score because my experience is in no way matching the claims on the brewer notes.

Packaged on December 1st, 2025 - enjoyed on January 3rd, 2026. Poured from a pint can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.

Nearly clear gold liquid with a large rocky magnolia mesa on top. Stiff peak lacing; excellent retention.

Resinous, slightly dank aroma with plenty of berry, stone fruit, and citrus notes. Simcoe, Citra, Superdelic, Simco Cryo, and HBC 1019 Cryo hops. Complex yet well integrated - fresh with no garlic/catty notes. Faint honey graham cracker around the edges.

Floral, fruity, herbaceous, with aggressive yet transitory bitterness. Crushed orange, pomegranate, cherry pits, chives flowing into some candied ginger/caramel flavors. Medium-dry finish with wild sage and red vines. Neutral yeast. Flavors are potent and pleasant, but don't synergize as well as the nose.

Not quite medium bodied, creamy yet crisp with good carbonation and some residual hop oils and a hint of alcohol warmth.

Overall another satisfying seasonal variant similar to Swami's but with more complexity.

16 oz can.
Pretty enough for style. Straw to gold in hue. Fluffy white head leaps 2 fingers high, slowly settles to a thin film, decent retention, layered lacing.
Smell is kind of all over the place. Hints of orange, pine resin, peach, pineapple, grass, and berry.
Flavo, like the nose, is a real tour of flavors: orange lifesavers, lemongrass, pineapple, peach, berry, a hint of weed... It goes on and on. But it doesn't quite come together.
Mouthfeel is fine for style. Finishes a bit bitter.

Champagne mixed w/ sunset gold; decent finger of head; above-average lacing. Aromas of earth, orange slices, pine resin, pineapple, and subtle vanilla that blends well & is not off-putting. Taste follows w/ myriad orange flavors, peach rings, red berry, lime, and some pink grapefruit. The feel is soft & oily up front, then finishes w/ some prickly bitterness on the back end. Well done.

Had a pint at the OB location in mid-December 2025. Should have grabbed a 6-pack of tall cans but wanted to wait to see if TJs had it. They did not. Now I’m upset that I don’t have cans available in the fridge as this is truly delicious, one of their better rotating “seasonal” WCIPAs in a while. Big time citrusy hop flavor, quite pungent. Unique hop bill, really enjoyable.

Finally picked up a 6’er a few weeks later. Can confirm that this is delicious. So easy to drink, so flavorful.
