pours a cloudy maize color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight wheat, hint of rice, slight citrus hops, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of a German Pilsner. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is a slight bitterness and slight dryness. Tastes of pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight wheat, hint of rice, slight citrus hops, and a hint of grass. Overall, decent appearance and aroma, but adjunct dominated body and cloying.

Pours a foggy copper with two fingers of off-white foam after a semi-aggressive pour. Head retention is okay with good lacing. Aroma is bread, pilsner, and biscuit malts with spicy, herbal, and earthy hops punching through. Flavor profile is spicy, herbal, and earthy hops up front with a spicy and earthy hop finish. Biscuit and pilsner malts fill in splendidly between the hop story line. Mouth feel is crisp, with a fuzzy texture. It packs a medium-thick consistency, landing it on the more filling side of the spectrum. Overall, a great pilsner. It packs in both malt and hop flavors, all while remaining well balanced. In fact, it may be hopped pretty heavy compared with other pilsners of this category. Still, it plays out in a flavorful beer.
