Opaque black coffee color with a substantial and lasting tan head and plentiful lacing.
The aroma is roasted malt, slight citrus note, hint of char.
The taste is sweet roasted malt, wheat, a definite char note and a touch of cloves, very interesting, generally mellow and actually quite nice.
The body is light, good carbonation, smooth and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a refreshing and enjoyable brew. ( the classification as American Pale Wheat Beer does not seem at all appropriate.)

Pours a black color. 5/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of piney hops, slight citrus hops, sweet malt, hint of wheat, and a hint of roasted malt. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of piney hops, slight citrus hops, sweet malt, hint of wheat, and a hint of roasted malt. Overall, good appearance and feel, with a decent aroma and body.
