Appearance: On draft at the Camden, Maine location. Tap handle livery reflects blood orange and sunlight. Poured into a pint glass. Virtually no head or lacing. Crystal clear. Gold in color with the slightest hint of orange.
Aroma and Taste: Orange soda. Freshly cut oranges. Orange candy. An tiny amount of typical wheat beer spice.
Feel: High effervescence. Thin and a little sticky; think orange soda as opposed to orange juice.
Overall: The beer was advertised as having a "mild orange taste" which I would disagree with and say is more like a moderately high orange taste. Maybe the miscommunication arises from it not being thick, pulpy, and juicy like a citrus IPA. In any case, it is a decent beer which shouldn't leave the drinker disappointed given that "blood orange" is in its name.

Nice light summer beer with very mild orange taste... Easy drinking... Refreshing but not terribly memorable...A good beer for those looking for something drinkable when they don't like a more aggressive brew.

A very mild wheat ale with mild to moderate orange flavoring.
