4 oz tap pour into an American Tumbler pint at Riverside in West Bend.
A - Light red amber color that's barley hazy. It looks a little bit deluded. A dense cream head sits on tip with good retention.
S - The aroma is crisp and clean, resembling more of a lager than an ale. Muted tart cherries sit gently on top of the pale malt base.
T - Cherry syrup, but not like cough syrup at least. Crisp and somewhat thin with a low malty background and a tart finish.
M - The body on this guy is a little thin and watery with a high level of carbonation and a fair tart finish.
D - The tartness cuts back on drinkability slightly but is more affected by the syrupy flavor. Better ingredients make better beer and this one just feels a touch thin to me.
