This beer poured a murky reddish/purple body with little to no head.
The nose was a very tart smelling natural blueberry, almost organic cranberry juice smell.
The taste was more of the same. Light to medium bodied. Tart natural blueberry taste. Sort of like drinking fresh squeezed blueberry juice thats had a few days to ferment then added to beer. Thats all I wrote down in my notebook. Taste after taste I kept thinking fermented blueberry juice and beer.
A very interesting version of a blueberry ale. Not your normal beer with fruit taste, this beer actually almost borders more on a blueberry lambic or a blueberry wine mixed with beer. I can understand this beer, but I doubt Id try it again.
