Berliner-style wheat ale, with 100% fresh cucumbers shredded and added to the brew kettle. Refreshing bright fruity and floral notes are augmented by subtle spiciness and botanicals from gin barrel aging.

Pours golden, leaves a small had that fades quickly to a thin white layer around the glass.
Nose is malty with honey and some cucumber.
Big cucumber in the taste, with some tartness and mild acidity. Maybe a hint of botanicals but not much gin presence.
Overall, a refreshing, slightly tart, mild beer. The main thing that sticks out is the cucumber.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden/amber color with a 1 finger foamy and fluffy white head with very poor retention, that reduces to nothing very quickly. Some clinging bubbles on the glass, and a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, cucumber, pear, red apple, white grape, juniper, spruce, gin, oak, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of hay, straw, grass, musty funk, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy/light funky yeast, cucumber, gin barrels, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, cucumber, pear, red apple, white grape, juniper, spruce, gin, oak, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of hay, straw, grass, musty funk, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness and yeast/gin/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart lemon, lime, cucumber, pear, red apple, white grape, juniper, spruce, gin, oak, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light hay/funk, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/light funky yeast, cucumber, gin barrels, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy, and lightly acidic/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very nice fruited wild ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/light funk yeast, cucumber, gin barrels, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly acidic/tannic finish. Not as much Brett/Lacto as I would have preferred for the style, but has a pleasant amount. Nice showcase of the cucumber and gin barrels. Solid tartness and nice malt presence, without being sweet. A very enjoyable offering.
