This is the 2018 version served late 2024, just prior to closing. This has a 6.3% abv.
The liquid is cloudy with a plum wine color (light purple-brown). No head; no lace.
The smell is sour soured cherry or blackberry. Not too tart with a touch of sweetness.
The taste is more sour but not extreme. Decent body but with nearly nonexistent carbonation (thus, the total lack of head and lacing). There’s a cough syrup-like flavor of cherry but it still isn’t sweet. Some alcohol warmth shows up after the swallow in the shorter aftertaste.

(2018 BBA 6.3% abv, draft pour at the brewery a week ago today, served in a wine glass... review from recollections)
tawny edging toward red, little foam on the pour... nose: lactic, barrel funky overtone; subtle acidic/vinegar hint; little in the way of discernible herbality; sour fruit juice essence... palate: as was on the nose, not getting much of the constituent herbs, however, the subtly bourbon-kissed sour barrel character was bright and exhilarating; delicate degree of underlying malt sweetness... drank like a tart wine, light-bodied, lip-smacky, subtly slimy... I very much enjoyed this, a fine example of American wild ale (2294)

Amazing. Would have liked to notice a bit more of the adjuncts/gruit side of things, but only nitpicking. Drinks like a complex flanders.
Doesn't hurt that it's named after one of my fav phish tunes.
