A well-balanced, tart, and refreshing ale. We combined the classic flavors of lime and blue agave nectar in a tart gose-style beer for the ultimate answer to the heavy heat of the day. The bright lime flavor helps wake up the palate while the mild sweetness of the agave rounds out the tangy zip of the citrus fruit. Light and refreshing, this all-new Otra Vez will have you calling for another round.

Nucleated Pilsner
Look: Poured a 1.5 finger head which quickly dissipated to nothing. Has a nice clear yellow color, with lots of rising effervescence
Smell: Strong lightly toasted wheat, some lime peels, and fresh squeezed lemons. Touch of basement-y yeast and grassiness . Medium strength
Taste: Lightly tart and salty lemon-lime, with a hint of agave sweetness. As the tartness fades, it gives way to a touch of booziness, and lime peels which quickly transitions to nice toasted wheat bread. Finish leaves a lingering grassiness of sugar cane and agave with some of the wheat malt
Feel: Light in the mouth with decent carbonation. Crisp
Overall: Good citrusy gose. Easy sipper, would be a great beer on hot summer days in the yard.

Yellowish straw appearance, translucent but not super clear. Thick bright white head but dissipates quickly. Smell the lime and slight agave almost like key lime pie. As it warms up a bit I can smell some of the typical gose scents of sourness from bacteria and a slight grain profile. Theres a nice lacing and more than expected. not a ton of carbonation but seems balanced for being a light bodied beer. lime dominates the flavor but also can pick up on some tart, grainy, and salty flavors. very light and smooth and would be great on a warm day. After it warms up it is much clearer and has more acidity and tartness in the flavor.

Well, it looked interesting and picked it up from the fridge, didn't even notice it was a flavoured gose until I got home.
Top: one inch of white head, disappears in less than 2 minutes. The bubbles are too big to create a good looking head.
Colour: light, very light. Lemon yellow, maybe straw, with a bit of haziness.
Smell: lemon juice concentrate with a hint of lime and maybe a tiny bit of tequila.
Taste: this beer has a very light body, it feels watery. Despite being 4.9% ABV, I would believe straight away if someone would say it's alcohol free.
Sorry, but it tastes just like a regular lemonade, I swear. I don't even feel the light saltiness that a gose should have. The carbonation is low, so it's a flat one too.
Summary: it's just a glorified lemonade, there, I said it. Nothing more, and for that, it's simply too expensive. No beer like qualities whatsoever.
It might be lovely on a warm summer day, but so is a spritzer.

Appears golden yellow, nice foamy head that dropped quickly.
Smells citrusy, lime, lightly bready.
Taste follows the nose with a slight sour flavor, salt and agave, think very light tequila but without the alcohol burn.
Mouth feel is light for the style.
Overall a refreshing change of pace for a hot summer day.

Six pack of bottles picked up at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
Served in a pint glass.
Look- Clear golden straw color. Modest little white head that recedes quickly to a thin ring of foam, light lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (lemon/lime and orange), agave or pear, bready malt, floral notes.
Taste- Much like the nose, citrus and agave/pear fruity notes, tangy with a light saltiness, a slight hint of grainy malt.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, crisp and tart, easy to gulp. Medium/light carbonation on the tongue.
O- Definitely an interesting offering from SN, I don't think this could be an everyday drinker but would be nice at a summer bbq.
