Poured into Ballast Point glass. Dark black with dark brown head of about quarter inch. Sweet, malty, chocolate smell. Oh, the taste. This is perfectly balanced beer. Each note between the maple, pecan, barrel, and base stout are hit perfectly. This beer is a symphony in your mouth.

L - dark with little head
S- Amazing nose. rich chocolate and dark fruit. Maple syrup comes through a little but not much.
T- Perfectly balanced. Sweet but not cloying. The 13% ABV is not apparent.
F - rich and smooth. Thick but not over the top. just right.
O - this is an amazing beer that is easy to drink and perfectly balanced.
