Beer and wine share the art of fermentation, so we brewed a reimagined Saison featuring Cabernet, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay grape must. The bright fruit blends with the spice and citrus of Saison yeast for a complex crowd-pleaser. Right off the box.

Anytime Sierra Nevada comes out with a new beer, how can you not grab a six pack for under $10?
Pours amber, was expecting more of a rose appearance, but ok. 1/3" white head. The aroma had some of the grape must and hibiscus as advertised, but also pushed a malty, cardboard like aspect just as much if not more. New beer with leftover malt who knows.
Taste was similarly a breadier, maltier experience than expected. The grape must and hibiscus are still there, but I thought that aspect would be more prominent. Same with the sourness and tartness, thought it would lean into that a bit more. Just really didn't taste much like a saison, the yeast experience just wasn't there, nor was the hay, grass, barnyard like aspect of it. Just maltier than expectations and it really clung to that aspect as the primary source for its taste and appearance.
Dare I say this was the uber rare underwhelming Sierra Nevada experience.

How can one NOT grab a six pack of beer featuring “grape must and hibiscus”!?! A malty flavor is dominate, but if I close my eyes real tight I think I just sense the grapie-hibiscusiness.

Clear pale pink with a lightly pale pink head.
Smells slightly funky with mild ale notes.
Taste is farmhouse yeast funk with some bitter herbal hops and mild malt support.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. The finish is mild dryness with balanced bitter/sweet.
Overall a tasty and unusual beer.

Yup....it’s a rose, no question in the pour. Very delicate, pale pink. Perfectly crystal clear
Nose is a honeyed tartness, relatively clean
Taste is that funky saison barn element, pretty sour finish, with light notes of what I’d call dried wine barrel
Has a very watery mouthfeel, with not enough carbonation to cut through the sour/funky saison taste
