Crisp Little Thing is a crusher, combining premium malts and laid-back hops for unreal balance and pure refreshment in every crisp, clean sip. It’s lowkey complex — a dash of sweetness, a flash of citrus — for irresistible flavor that’s easy-drinking above all else.

This is definitely crisp, but to a fault. Definitely my least favorite little hazy. This is so dry and narrow in flavor it has me reaching for another beer almost immediately.

White gold with fast-fleeing loose white froth; cracked grain + cut hay nose; toasted pan, Belvita biscuit, slight lemon curd, and grass; light, smooth, building bitterness.

A Sierra beer that’s not hoppy?
It’s true; this is a kittenish 18 IBUs and the only hop (that they admit to) is Mosaic, but darned if I can find it.
What you get instead is toasty Munich layered on top of pilsner malts, a silky body that could be drier, and no sharp edges.
That’s it. It’s not even that Crisp.
This seems, much like California IPA, a step to meet non-craft drinkers where they are. For a brewery of the size and reputation of SN, it’s a sad sign of the times they feel this is necessary.
I hear this is gonna be contract brewed in Belgium; that tracks.
A gateway lager 20 years too late.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours straw yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of fresh bright grain. Tastes of crisp grain with a little bit of fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of fizzy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, toffee, bread crust and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with bread crust and a light citrusy bite.

Awesome patio pounder period. Tasted more hops than your typical lager. Refreshing and crisp.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden-straw color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell -The aroma is strong of a bready cracker and biscuit malt with notes of citrus, being mostly of a light grapefruit and lemon smell. Along with these smells comes a bit of grass and hay.
Taste – The taste starts out with a crisp cracker malt flavor mixed with bready and cracker malt flavor with notes of citrus grapefruit and lemon, and a touch of tropical fruits and tangerine. As the taste advances some other light grassy and piney hop taste. The lemon gets a bit more potent toward the end, and with a bit of hay, one is left with a rather crisp and easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. For the abv. and flavors the feel is good making for a crisp sipper.
Overall – A rather nice summer style brew with an easy drinking nature.

Crisp Little Thing has a very thick, white head and a mostly clear, straw appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of biscuity malt. The flavor is similar, with moderate, grassy bitterness. Crisp Little Thing has a medium body and a crisp finish.

Pours a clear yellow with a generous white head.
Light and crisp. Malty and citrusy. More like a bold Pilsner than a lager.

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear yellow, huge head.
Smell: Hay, light breadiness.
Taste: Mild breadiness, maybe a little grassiness and light lemon flavor. It is light and crisp. Breadiness stays through the finish.
Overall: From a mixed 12 pack of “little thing” beers. Crisp Little Thing is a decent lager, nothing too brash, SN's Summerfest is my preferred lager from them, much more flavorful.

One of my favorite beers for summer time. It has all the malty complexity of a halles lager but with a citrusy clean dry finish. I drank a bunch of these while catering a mountain bike race in the summer heat. Might have made them taste unnaturally good. But I just had one at home while its chilly outside and it's still fantastic.
