A: Pours a clear gold with a quarter of white head.

S: Banana aromas.

T: Light banana upfront followed by some peppery spice. Just a hint of hop bitterness in the dry finish.

M: Light body with average carbonation.

O: An average beer.

Had on tap at Flying Saucer in Nashville.

Beer pours a hazy yellow.

Smell is slightly of bannana and yeast. Citrusy is also slightly present.

Beer tastes very light. A bit of yeast up front, followed by slight pepper on a finish.

Mouthfeel is very thin.

Not a bad sessional saison, but nothing special also.

Packaging: 64 oz. growler
Glassware: Tulip
Freshness: Unknown
Purchased: Growler fill at Frugal McDougals, Nashville

Appearance: Very clear, with a golden color. Head is white and about 2 fingers high on the pour. Lacing is moderate.

Smell: Classic funky Belgian farmhouse ale yeast dominates, with some fruity/citrus aromas and floral notes in the background.

Taste: Crisp, dry and tart, like a dry wine. Moderately bitter with no sweetness. Lessor tastes include pale malts combined with spicy and peppery flavors.

Mouthfeel: Carbonation is fairly high with a thin body. The finish is dry and acidic, with a lingering bitterness.

Overall: A good beer. I would have preferred a little less of the bitter/dry taste that seemed to overshadow the fruit and spicy flavors.
