A tradition that's centuries old, Landbier ("beer of the land") celebrates the unique terroir and flavor of a region. Estate Heirloom Landbier, then, is our taste of home. This specialty Lager starts with an ancient grain, Purple Egyptian Barley, planted and harvested on our farm in Chico, California, lending the beer a distinct nuttiness and deep honey color. Add our own Estate-grown hops — Cascade and Triple Pearl varieties — for floral, citrus and spice flavors, and you have a complex and full-bodied beer that is truly unique to our brewery backyard.
