High fermentation beer, inspired by the Belgian saison, orange in color with golden hues. Produced by various types of malted barley and wheat, spiced with pink pepper, grains of paradise and bitter orange peel. The nose is distinguished by the scent of pink pepper followed immediately by the more aromatic grains of paradise. Aroma then found in mouth combined with pleasant bitterness from the hops. Despite the substantial body and alcohol content, it is very pleasant to drink.

Draft at the brewpub in Florence.
Pours a very cloudy, dark golden orange color with a one finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Earthy barnyard aroma with lots of zesty spice, bready yeast and light fruit. Hints of pepper, coriander, grass and straw with lots of bread and banana as well as some apple and pear.
Medium bodied with a strong zesty spice and a sweet citrus presence that lingers over the barnyard funk and bready yeast into a slightly dry finish. Citrus, zesty coriander and pepper along with grapefruit, orange peel and delicate earthy hops. Fuller bodied than expected but flavorful and easy to drink.
