I just drank a growler of this over an evening of great food and conversation and it really hit the spot. Fairly hoppy though has some a cross between PNW and English profile which really works for the style. The nose is flowery hops and the colour is a lovely dark gold with a big head. The draft aspect of a growler really shines in the style as the mouthfeel was spot on with the beer both refeshing and showing complexity. There is a definite bitterness on the finish which is pronounce in the first couple sips but the beer quickly balances out with a solid malt backbone. Really good ESB that IMHO should be a Year round brew.
