Our craft pilsner is refreshing and easy-drinking, with a bready malt backbone laced with noble German hops. A winning hand for both lager lovers and hopheads alike! Many Thanks to our longtime friend, Ted Vadella, for coming up with such a great brand concept.

12oz can, canned on 07/22/25 (according to the stamp on the 6 pack holder) served in a pilsner glass.
Appearance: Pale golden yellow, mostly clear with just the tiniest bit of haze. Nice persistent white foam with some thick strands of lacing noted.
Smell: Clean, with a bit of noble hop aroma.
Taste: Nice noble hop taste at the front and finish. Definite pilsner-type malt, but a little on the sweeter side that complements the hops nicely. Quite tasty, but doesn't have that crispness that you expect with the style.
Mouthfeel: Just right carbonation, good thickness, dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Rather enjoyable - I could easily have another one of these, and they would go well with snack food and many a hand of the game this beer is named after. So while there are parts of this beer that are a little on the weak side (color, taste), overall, this beer works and is more than the sum of its parts from a drinkability perspective.

Solid tasting and well crafted Pilsner. Easy drinking with nice flavor. Perfectly to style.
I wish there was a date on the can, the retailer added a date sticker to the carton. My sample was plenty fresh!
Update: Apparently, the brewery adds the date sticker to the outside of the carton. Seems like a nice idea.

I may need to revisit this one as I'm doubtful it was fresh. But it tasted fairly spot on for a German Pils, at least an American take on one.

Can received in a retaliatory porch strike occurring in Bif14 from @foundersasap
A dusky golden liquid with active carbonation streams forming a white one finger thick layer when poured into a footed Pilsener glass
Aroma is grassy, malts, bready , straw, hay
Taste is hoppy, spicy, malts, grassy
Mouthfeel is an Aggressive hop bite , sudsy bitter, mouth puckering dry finish
Thanks for sending me this one @foundersasap , I prefer the hop spice to more subtle and nuanced .

Pours a slightly murky golden yellow with a moderate (and somewhat less than expected) amount of fizzy white head that receded to a thin ring. Aroma has some nice herbal / floral notes mixed with some nice bready malt aromas. Taste is lightly bready with a nice little hop bite on the back-end. Not quite as clean / crisp as I would hope, but overall still a very tasty beer that is going down very quickly.

On tap at hopcat. Pours crystal clear straw golden, white head. Fruity nose. Not a clean lager. I taste victory or biscuit malt. Doesn’t belong in a pils. Bitterness is very firm, much too bitter for a pils of either persuasion. No hop flavor.
An ok beer at best but definitely not a good pils and not even a passable one. Skip this.

My review would almost be verbatim from Beejay below. Other than in my opinion,
I think the lingering hoppiness/bitterness is way too strong. Really close yo being an outstanding pilsner.

A: A hazy pale yellow in color with a lot of haze in it, and a small white head.
S: Lightly herbal and floral notes, with hints of light malt, and perhaps a touch of straw.
T: Lightly bready, with a slight sweetness. Fairly high bitterness with herbal and floral notes.
M: Light in body, with fairly high carbonation. Light and refreshing feel.
O: Overall a pretty decent brew. I think the bitterness is a touch assertive, but still within the range for the style.

Awesome and simple Pilsner! I love the Michigan-appropriate name of Euchre. There is a bit of that smell which reminds me of what was unpleasant about the smell of beer cans as a child, but the taste is great. I’ll grab a six-pack in the future.
