The taste vaguely reminds me of mountain dew so its definitely refreshing in that sense. The feel is more akin to a pop too. Idk not very beer like to me but a good drink.
This is also terrible in terms of actually tasting like a margarita, now that im revisiting this, the look is unappealing as the head fizzled instantly in a beer clean glass but it also tastes more like key lime pie. It doesn't taste bad if anything it tastes good but I don't think it's great at being what it says it is.

L: Straw gold. Clear. Filtered and pasteurized. Very active and lively.
S: Limey. With a bit of buttery barley.
T: Tastes follows the smell. It's not tart at all.
F: Smooth. Light. Doesn't make your mouth pucker. Like a regular juice, not a tart juice.
O: It's drinkable.

12oz can. Poured out very cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of pillowy foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of lime, lemon and tart fruits. Nice and tart tasting with lots of lime and hints of caramel. Light and sharp yet somehow creamy.

Only slightly foggy pale gold with a moderately lumpy white head that does not retain at all.
Sticky sweet limeade up front does transition to having that bite of salted lime that pretty much hits the nail on the margarita head. And considering the relatively high ABV their shandy always has, this makes for a more noticeable alcohol presence, helping further that mixed drink effect.
This does still have a full, round body for a shandy, with a fine carbonation. At the same time, it tastes and feels like candy, ala Pixy Stix.
