12oz can served in a pair of Georgetown sampler glasses. Best By May 11 2025. Got it from @ozzylizard in NBS BIF #17.
Pours fairly hazy whitish yellow with a small head and light carbonation. Smell is light...lemon, a little wheat, a little kettle sour aroma.
Taste is more in the lemonade direction than the kettle sour direction, though kettle sourness is there. There's a little bit of sweetness that adds to the lemonade-y-ness, but I can't nail that down to anything specific.
Mouthfeel is light, airy, very dry. Overall, it's not my favorite beer by any stretch, but it's probably the straight berliner weisse I've liked most.

Imperial Berliner Weisse from Hoppin’ Frog, 12 oz can. Picked up at brewery 22/03/23. Reviewed 31/03/23 (Review 3060). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on can bottom “BEST BY MAY 11 2025”. Served at 46.5 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 51.8 degrees.
Appearance – 3.5.
First pour –Pale straw (SRM 2), clear.
Body – Pale Gold (SRM 4), very slight haze. Under direct light, same coloration but mils carbonation. When rear lite, same.
Head – Average (Maximum 4 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density and fizzy, receding to neither crown nor cap, just an intermittent ring of near-microscopic bubbles and a floating scum-like island.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 3.5 – Smells like a pilsner with just a hint of acidity. No malt, no yeast, weak hops. No ethanol (9.05 % ABV as marked on can) aroma.
Flavor – 3.5 – Weak hops, no yeast, no malt. Barely noticeable acidity. No gastric warming. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3 – Thin; watery; soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 OK but lacks the expected acidity. Quite flavorless other than a mild hops presence.

Foggy straw yellow darkening to maize at the top under a soft level white blanket dying to a thick ring.
I was concerned about the ABV and how the "Imperial" moniker might taint the style, but well, actually, this works quite well. Nicely tart and lemony with light biscuit in the middle, the higher horsepower isn't terribly discernable, making it dangerous, but also ripe for some heavy fruiting (wink-wink).
That said, it stands well on its own. Refreshing despite its strength, a firm carbonation runs through its moderate body.
