Good for a terp beer. Draft small serving,it was enough, at the taproom. Big showing of the terp followed in a sweet base. Quaffable stuff for a change of pace.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Best by Nov 9 2025. Received from @ozzylizard in NBS BIF #17.
Pours a foggy light yellow, fairly large head that settles into about a one millimeter thick stable layer. Smell is marijuana and honeysuckle, with a little bit of a graininess. And maybe some bubblegum.
Taste is pretty similar, but doubles down on the pot. Sweetness is a little stronger and more generically floral, has a bit of an herbal (non-pot) turn to it.
Mouthfeel is light, airy, fluffy. Overall, this is an interesting blonde ale. All that pot aroma makes me expect some bitterness, but it's pretty sweet and the resin is pretty muted. Probably pretty far from a traditional blonde, but I'm enjoying it.

All along the Terp Tower from Hoppin’ Frog, 16 oz can. Picked up at brewery 22/03/23. Reviewed 03/04/23 (Review 3063). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on can bottom “BEST BY NOV 9 2025”. Stored at 42 degrees at home. Served at 48.0 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 54.1 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Extremely pale straw (SRM 1), hazy.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear lite, shows a translucent yellow.
Head – Average (Maximum 4 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, quickly receding to a 0.3 cm crown and cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 4.25 – Smells distinctly dank, like onions, mostly caryophyllene (I think) with some pinene and a little myrcene. No yeast, no malt. No ethanol (7.0 % ABV as marked on can) aroma.
Flavor – 4.5 – Begins lightly bitter. No malt, no yeast. No gastric warming. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Ends with a light hop bitterness and a bit of lemongrass.
Palate – 4 – Medium; on the watery side of creamy; soft but lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Serving temperature is a bit higher than normal, but I’m going for the terpenes. Not picking up any linalool or limonene (expected). Overall, this is an unexpectedly pleasing interpretation of a blonde ale, tasty and not damaged by the high ABV. Think I’ll have another!

Taster at Hoppin' Frog. Cloudy yellow pour, small creamy white head. Lemony aroma, citrus, tartness. Taste is tangy, lemons. Tastes like lemonade. Awesome.

Foggy straw yellow with a fluffy but short white head.
I was a little curious how this 7% ale qualified as a blonde, but it actually is really light in flavor, with a lemony biscuit sort of base. However, as advertised, the nose is crazy potent of terpene oils up front. They're super dank and skunky--obviously what they were going for--but they actually seem to tone down after your first sip, weirdly enough, allowing a little room for a toasty cracker and pear tang.
