Fairly hazy darker amber, almost nearing brown, with minimal to no head over a fluid surface. This definitely took on a lot of color from the barrel.
And dang, on the palate the rum continues to have a substantial influence, imparting a solid caramel presence as well as a hinting element of spice. A fresh bit of coconut comes out after the swallow, while the pineapple is fresh and stringy in the middle, overall sweetening the slightly thicker than usual Turbo body.
