Draft
App- A very hazy cloudy soft yellow. A puffy head and a few lines of retention. Was very murky to me.
Smell- This smelled bland and bready. A little bit of stale scents as well. A bit turned off by this.
Taste- So bland and a bit too sweet/malty. Not sure what it was but I didnt like this.
Mouth- Medium bodied and a bit higher carbed. Doughy after.
Drink- I wont have this one again. Probably my least favorite of the day.

12 oz bottle poured into my pilsner glass.
Pale golden-yellow body with a thin persistent creamy ivory head. Decent lacing.
Faintly cereal like aroma (despite the lack of adjuncts), very clean and rather non-descript. Pale malt, though not "pissy." Slightly grassy with a hint of oxidation.
Slightly sweet and faintly spicy flavor profile, with a vague hint of fruit (underripe plantain?). Slight bitterness that brings to mind salad greens (though not DMS).
Medium-light bodied, creamy and very well carbonated.
Some odd flavor throughout makes this just a little less than refreshing. Rated as a Pilsner this would suffer badly, but this is a "pre-prohibition American-style lager" - wish I had known that before I bought it as I probably would have avoided the purchase. As it stands this is basically a slightly superior version of what the macros are doing...meh.

On-tap at Hollingshead's in a half-liter mug, on to the beer:
This beer is straw blonde in color, the head is soapy on top with solid retention. Aroma is very sweet and malty. The taste is full of pale malt flavor. It's a very strong maltiness with some honey-like sweetness, some grassy notes, grain, and a trickle of floral notes. Its body is smooth, and is perhaps this beer's highlight.
This has a meaty malt flavor, but it lacks balance. More hops would make this a much better quaffing beer. Overall, this was a bit too sweet for my liking.
