A: Pours a wheat like yellow with a decently strong pure white head. Beer looks quite lively. Decent retention.

S: Smells peppery, spicy (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, cilantro), vineous, and a bit fruity (apples and grape). Complex and inviting.

T: I feel like there is buckwheat in this beer with strong peppery notes. There is a bit of cilantro, cinnamon and cloves in there. Very light honey notes. Some tartness with green apple skin. Lightly vineous with some raisin and alcohol undertones.

M: Medium body as expected for the abv. The carbonation is light and fluffy, not in the same way as a true Belgian beer but close enough.

O: This is a really solid Saison. True to the genre, with peppery, spicy complex notes.

Appearance: Orange gold color with a small amount of white head retention that stays throughout drinking it
Aroma: Rustic malt with a tinge of oxidation
Taste: Earthy yeast, pepper, tart citrus, citrus pith, damp hay, barnyard, pear, tart apple, and a tinge of cardboard as it warms on the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium light body with a medium carbonation
Overall: A great rustic saison on par with La Moneuse from Blaugies, it's like Belgium farmhouse in a glass.

Pours a slightly hazed deep gold color. Yeast esters, damp basement, tree fruit and cracked grain. Slight spices but really tame. Prominent tastes are bready and herbal, muted fruit, faint citrus, lemongrass. Mild bitterness, dusty malt and ample belgian character. Spot on for the saison style.

Pours a hazy shade of yellow, reminiscent of pineapple juice. Half a finger of a pure white head.

A nice smelling beer. The first thing your nose is hit with is fruity notes of pear, white grape, and banana. This is quickly followed by an earthiness and generic herbal notes (though I do get subtle distinct notes of what could be thyme or rosemary).

Taste matches the aroma quite well. Fruity up front with a bit of sweetness. In come the herbal notes and it actually finishes quite dry and bitter. Nice balance.

The beer is medium bodied with a medium-light carbonation.

Over all, a nice offering. It strikes a nice balance between being refreshing yet interesting and nuanced, a quality I like to see in saisons. Would be a nice beer with food, maybe some roasted meat and fall vegetables.
