16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden body, foamy head, lively carbonation. Aroma is grainy, straw, grassy with a light hop presence. Taste is mildly sweet, malty, crisp hops, minor mouth coating and dry at the finish.

16oz can purchased at Bottles, in Millwood, WA, for $3.49.

Poured into an IPA glass, this was a clear, golden shade of amber. Big, sudsy head, with lots of lace. Looks great!

Aroma was hoppy, reminding the workers at my olfactory of grapefruit, pine needles and - slightly - of soap.

Sharp, bitter, old-school hop flavor is the star, here, and it's glorious. A very slight, crackery maltiness is also present, but it's the hop's show.

Fairly light and crisp mouthfeel, but also a little resiny.

Delicious beer. Wish I'd been able to buy more, and I would have if this hadn't been the last can of it in the cooler at Bottles. Fort George brewed a winner with this one.

Pale, clear, amber. Pronounced floral aroma, quickly fades with the head. Hop flavor is mild, not biting, and tempered bitterness. That'sa very well crafted APA. Nice hop bite on the after taste. Worth sipping on a early fall afternoon with the very mild 4.99% ABV making the rest of that four-pack very tempting.

By FAR this fresh hop (2021) beer is one of the best I've had thus far. The nose develops strawberry, marionberry and rhubarb. The mouthfeel opens to bright captain crunch mixed berry. Followed by that quintessential fresh hop feel. Flowing with the iconic Centennial varietal, and the finishing touch of cascading lemon curd and rosemary marmalade. I can't picture a better tasting 4.99 AVB beer on the market. Here's proof that I humbly have a feel for this 2021 crop as of 9/24/21

My Top 7 (Disclaimer: I haven't had any Block 15.) I imagine they're going to be in my final top 3. Check my reviews for a complete comparison. These ratings are based off my opinion only, cheers my friends.

Rock, Paper, Centennial from Fort George Brewing. Received two 16 oz cans in a LIF from @snaotheus. Stored at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 21/09/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Marked on bottom lip “09/04/21”. Served at 44.4 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 56.1 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), clear.
Body – Pale Gold (SRM 4), clear, marked effervescence. When rear-lite, straw.
Head – Average (Maximum 3.3 cm, aggressive center pour), chalky white, high density, average retention, diminishing to a 0.9 – 1.1 cm crown and a complete cap with a few rocks. Second pour produces a 0.3 cm head.
Lacing – Poor. A few isolated islands of tiny to small bubbles hang in the inside of the glass.
Aroma – 4 – Initial burst of pine resin when tab is popped – no malt, no yeast. This quickly fades to a slightly vegetal aroma.
Flavor – 4 – Begins slightly bitter with weak, slightly resinous, hops, no malt, no yeast. No ethanol (4.99 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No gastric warming. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Ends slightly bitter.
Palate – 4 – Medium, watery but approaching creamy, lively aggressive carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4 A pleasing resiny pale ale.

Can from The Beermongers.

A clear orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose is insanely spicy with citrus, spicy hops, dank and unique. Pure hops, pure, pure hops. Minimal malt. The palate opens, spicy, dank, earthy, citrusy. Gorgeous fresh hop character. Minimal malt, minimal sweetness allows focus to be on hops alone. Drying, mildly bitter finish with gorgeous fresh hop flavor.

16oz can served in a stemless wineglass. Dated 09/08/2021.

Pours clear light golden with a small head. Smell is very pleasing lemon and honeysuckle, fresh hoppy resin.

Taste is very much along the same lines, something slightly bubblegummy in addition, though maybe just slightly watery.

Mouthfeel is light, smooth, also slightly watery. Overall, this is a very worthy beer.

First, this beer is FRESH. I drank it on Friday, two days after it was canned on 9/8.

It looks great ... light golden with a big white head. The smell is hoppy (duh), floral, and maybe some pine. Taste is similar. The ABV is listed as 4.99%, making this the biggest flavor punch per ABV I've ever had. It's a big beer in terms of flavor, but not alcohol.

This is my first fresh hop beer of the season, so maybe I'm extra easily impressed, but I think this is a terrific beer.
