Look: Murky dull orange with a lively head that balloons up and holds as a pillow, slowly pulling back to reveal great lacing left behind
Aroma: Ripe guava, mandarins, sweet pineapple, mango, papaya, a little Cannabis, and strawberries
Taste: A rush of juicy citrus fruit kicks it off and quickly followed by waves of tropical fruit salad. Guava, pineapple, passionfruit, and mango are all in play along with some berry notes and raw hop cones that hold through the close
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and slick and somewhat soft on the finish
Overall: This is good stuff. I’ve never had the fresh hop version of FOG nor the hop that they used here (HBC586) so figured I’d give this a go and glad I did as it’s tasty and really unique. A swath of tropical fruit that is seemingly oozing juice and a little citrus and berry side are what this hop hits me with. Definitely worth a try

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Cloudy golden body, persistent white head. Aroma is tropical and dank. Taste is fruity, tropical notes, dank, melon, mild sweetness. A bit of the hoppy character lingers on the palate.

16oz can poured into a pub nonic, golden body with a touch of haze and a rocky, foamy off-white head; the nose pops with big, rindy tropical fruit, a mixture of melon and mango/papaya/pineapple, with a clingy resiny dankness across the aroma and palate. Floral, earthy, piney, honey. Feels a bit bigger than 7.6% abv, full mouthfeel and sticky.

16oz can served in a pint glass. Can is dated 09/26/2022.
Pours clear yellow with a fairly small head, a thick skin that lasts, and not a ton of active carbonation. Smell is dank, lemony, with a little honeysuckle.
Taste is similar, though a bit more on the lemon side than the dank side. More resin that seems to build into something like a melon rind bitterness.
Mouthfeel is on the heavy side of medium, maybe a bit sticky. Overall, it's a pretty good beer.
