I’ve sampled the ‘22, ‘24 & ‘25 editions. All have been excellent. Fort George’s Ology consistently delivers on the promise of a barrel-aged English barleywine — rich malt, dried fruits, toasted notes, and evolving oak depth from vintage to vintage. Each release leans into subtle differences in barrel seasoning and aging time, making collecting and tasting side-by-side especially rewarding.
