"Thanks" Chris

A hazy pink with a dense, white head. The nose is unfermented wort with bright lemon, blackberry and juice. The palate is watery , juicy, sweet. Mildly tart and low acid with lemon and blackberry. Undrinkable. Rather terrible.

Look: As expected, pours a purple-red and unexpectedly is quite thick-looking and puree-like cloudy with a pure white head that settles to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Blackberry juice and fruit, lemon flesh and rind, lactic tartness, a little lemongrass, and wafts of bready malt
Taste: Comes on quick with a boatload of blackberry and lemon that literally tastes like I was having a blackberry/lemon smoothie and as the fruit subsides, light tartness checks in. Tart notes keep it spritzy but the fruit holds the limelight throughout and through the close
Mouthfeel: Full – flirting with thick, fairly smooth, medium carbonation, and a full and slightly smooth finish with a hint of acidity
Overall: I dig it. I’ll be honest, I was expecting this to be much sharper and more sour than it was but it’s still good and definitely something a fruit beer lover would enjoy plus an easy intro to what quick sours can bring to the table. Glad to have tried it but not really my cup of tea.

Pour is a light burgundy color, thin head. Fruity aroma, nothing specific. Carbonation is low. First sip was the best and it goes downhill from there. Ends up as slightly carbonated kinda-fruit punch from a third tier caterer at a cheap wedding reception.
