absolute stunning, this positively floored me, had no idea until we visited that these guys were making wild stuff like this, and its a delight to drink on, among my favorites of all from when we visited, done with nectarines and mexican vanilla beans, a unique and almost sexual combination for me, totally awesome. pale light orange beer with some haze and some fizz but very little head accumulating. the aroma is striking, the juicy, sweet, slightly tangy, summery nectarines right with the lush, sensual, natural, bold aromatic vanilla beans, wow. the vanilla is such a unique add to this, and with the mature bretty funk, newish oak, white wine notes, and very mild acidity, it really brings everything together and makes this pop. the fruit is so ripe and real, no mistaking this for apricots or peaches, but i think the vanilla is just as bold, they go so well together. cool funk to this, well developed, a light saison ester too, white pepper, green pear, it tastes as good as it smells. i want this to be lotion or something, its so vibrant and i feel it throughout my body. sweet and tart at the same time to finish, wheaty and fuller bodied, moderate carbonation seems enough. amazing overall, the fruit and vanilla together make it, but the fermentation profile they achieved here cannot be overlooked. magic!
