Clear golden color with plenty of foam in the small snifter. Some aroma of corn and alfalfa. First impression: this is plain, watery, and finishes with a distinct mineral taste. Light malty sweetness is pleasant, but soon overtaken by the celebration of hops rather than the wholesome grains. OK for a quick quaff, but only because I'm thirsty am I finishing this harsh concoction. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery store. Dated 08/08/24.

16oz can, nearly 3 months old
Pours two fingers of pillowy white head into my Willi. Retention is superb, a full finger of head remains after a few minutes and lasts nearly the entire glass. Lacing is wonderful. Body is yellow, crystal clear, with a heavy nucleation. Looks amazing.
Nose is relatively bright. Hop forward but it’s modest - light notes of lemon, dank earth, maybe a touch catty. Sourdough bread hides in the background and comes through heavier over time. Pretty inviting.
Drinks even softer than the nose, hops come through more noble than anything, some spice, very straight forward. Has a surprising but very clear nuttiness in the finish. It’s a nice flavor but lacks any complexity.
Despite the aggressive nucleation there is still a high carbonation. Relatively light bodied. Dry with a mild bitterness, leads towards a somewhat sharp finish. Overall a good mouthfeel.
Drinkability is nice despite the slightly astringent finish.
Overall good but could use some depth.

Draft at Diablo & Sons. Clear, pale golden pour, skin of white head. Grainy aroma, light fruity notes, citrus. Taste is malty, biscuity, then the hops show up, zesty, bright, light lemony notes.
