16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated 09/10/24. Bought it at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park two days ago.
Pours crystal clear, dark gold, small head settling quickly into a thin, dusty skin. Moderate to low quantity of active carbonation at rest. Smell is grainy, bready, with a slight lemon twist and a little grass.
Taste is more lemon than I remember from my first can yesterday. Plenty of grain and bread, though, a little earthy bitterness rather than grass.
Mouthfeel is very light, effervescent. Overall, very nice.

Good looking pour. A very good example of a classic helles: softer taste, biscuit-y maLt, sufficient hops to balance but not enough to dominate. No adjuncts that we detect. Very high drinkability, just 4.5% ABV. This is a summer beer brewed in early fall. A collaboration with Irrelevant Beer, from Vancouver, WA.

Clear bright golden brew with ample foam in the New Belgium shifter. Pleasant grainy aroma. Very clean and light flavors. Slightly sweet to start with that touch of malt that makes the Helles style more than just a pale Lager. Browned biscuit notes and a green herbal finish, all quite restrained and stylish. Highly quaffable with enough flavor to enjoy to the end. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery restaurant. Dated 09/10/24.
