Tastes like a summer night on the front porch of Strawberry City, Louisiana.

Pint enjoyed on tap at Prime Tap House - Tanasbourne in Hillsboro, OR. Served in a Becher glass.
Look:
The body is filled with a slight haze, and the medium-gold body has a delicate pinkish cast which pushes the color ever so slightly towards amber. The white foam head quickly shrinks to a patchy skin and persistent collar. Not much lacing.
Smell:
Typical lager profile: primarily doughy, grainy malt with a touch of sulfur. The strawberry character is subtle, but comes across as enticingly natural (not candy-like) and not too sweet. I wish there were more, but I really like what's there.
Taste:
Follows the nose in lock-step: crisp, grainy malt, mildly sweet. A mild fruitiness (but not strawberry!) comes through in the middle to usher in the delicate strawberry flavor that appears mostly on the breath in the aftertaste. As in the nose, the strawberry flavor is natural, not too sweet, and very subtle.
Feel:
Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Quenching.
Overall:
This is not a strawberry-flavored lager. This is a lager lightly flavored with strawberry. Subtlety is the key. There's just enough strawberry essence to notice and appreciate, but not nearly enough to hog the spotlight. I wish it had more, but as it is, it still works really well.
