Sorcerers of madness, Ghost Town and Fort George, this year renew their profane bond of friendship forged over the fires of their irreverent love of fresh hops and Black Sabbath to create MOSAIC Architect, a crisp, aromatic IPA with Fresh Mosaic Hops from BC Hop Farms.
Lightly and refreshingly bitter, Mosaic Architect is so much darker than the sum of its ingredients.
BREWER'S NOTES
Can art by Will Elias.
Hops: BC HOP Farm Fresh Mosaic, Mosaic, Mosaic CO2 Extract, Mosaic Cryo
Malts: Rahr Pils, 2-Row, Weyermann Acidulated

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 9-30-25 into a tulip at 55 degrees.
Look- Straw, clear, white frothy head, average head retention, slightly above average lacing.
Smell- Clementine, dank, pine resin, passionfruit, between medium and high strength of scent.
Taste- Pine resin, clementine, passionfruit, mango, between medium and high strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, slightly below average carbonation, moderately bitter, mildly prickly, mildly mouth warming, moderately creamy, soft.
Overall- Straw and clear with average head retention and slightly above average lacing. The nose was a robust mix of clementine, dank, pine resin and passionfruit. The flavor was more pine resin forward than the bouquet, but still had the same great flavors with wonderful balance. The body was right on for the style. The fresh hop prickly and resinous character was at a level where it was present, but not overbearing. Overall this beer was great in every aspect and provided a stellar drinking experience.

16oz can purchased at Bottles, in Millwood, WA, for $4.99. Canned on September 30, 2025, per the stamp on the bottom of the can. Below that was stamped "Death By Mosaic."
Initially, upon being poured, things were a clear, golden amber color, but within a couple minutes those things had become chill-hazed. Head was impressive looking, a big, creamy looking, off-white. Lots of lace.
Big Mosaic nose up front. Smells as advertised.
Slightly pithy citrus fruit flavors up front. Modest piney bitterness on the back end. Finishes dry, but not Sahara dry.
Medium bodied, modestly oily mouth feel.
Doesn't reinvent the Mosaic fresh hop experience but is very pleasant and extremely easy to drink after a hellish night at work.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated 09/30/25.
Pours crystal clear bright yellow, medium sized head that settles into a thin skin, lots of carbonation. Smell is super lemony with a strong pine background, moderate floral sweetness.
Taste is lemon rind, lemon peel, moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Fresh hop intensity is recognizable but not high.
Mouthfeel is very light, very smooth, almost thin. Overall, it's a pretty solid IPA, not a great fresh hop.
