This was quite a surprise. Here in SC for a wedding Quigleys was recommended for its food. Did not know they brewed great beer.
This beer was very refreshing out of 20 oz pint type glass. Smell of a pre prohibition era American lager with a slight hop citra taste. Throws back easy on this humid evening and light enough to order 2 20 ouncers but wife objected. Will certainly go back for this excellent lager later this weekend!

Appearance: light yellowish orange color with a one finger head.
Smell: light grass and lemon citrus is easily detectable by the nose.
Taste: nice malt profile with some hearty lemon zest coming through. Some grass, hint of green apple sweetness, and a moderate bitterness make up a well balanced and superbly refreshing beer.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp at the start, less so at the finish. Aftertaste is short with the lemon flavors hanging around the longest.
Drinkability: this was my favorite beer during my visit as it was extremely refreshing and flavorful but light enough after coming in from the summer heat and humidity.
