Appearance: Slightly hazy body, the color of lemon meringue, with a large, coarse white head, which slowly fades. Sparse, chunky lacing adorns the glass walls. Some fat bubbles drift lazily to the surface.
Aroma: Lemon rind vies with herbal hops and pale malt, emphasizing the hops.
Taste: Begins with solid pale malt and moderate herbal hops. A little lemon rind is present, also. As the taste progresses, the hops assert a bit, although they are never oppressive, just a solid backdrop against the sturdy pale malt. Finishes with a lingering, mild herbal hop presence.
Mouth feel: Pleasant and full, with a bit of stinging carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A pleasant choice for a hot summer day at the lake or just mowing the lawn.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

There is nothing like opening a box from the mighty JenRay who routinely sends me CANs from Texas! This one arrived recently and since I got a pic approved, I am going to dive right in. Or maybe float around for a bit.
From the CAN: "Beer & Happiness are the Same - Both are Better Shared."; "Share One with a Sunny Day"; "In Central Texas there's nothing lazier than a float down the river. Lazy Day Lager features Vienna malts and Noble hops for an incredibly dry and drinkable brew. A golden libation that says slow down and savor the moments in every season."; "Hand crafted in Austin Texas".
I was feeling lazy when I CANducted the Crack! for some reason, so I went with a gentle Glug. I still got a brief finger of foamy, bone-white head that lazily fell into wisps. I wanted to gauge the color, but I was almost too lazy to lift the glass to the light. It was a real effort, but it turned out to be a lazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with lazy clarity. Nose held a lazy lemony-biscuit quality, making me think lazily of lemon biscotti. I'd get excited, except that I am too lazy. Mouthfeel was thin and lazy and just floated around on my tongue like it was in an inner tube. Taste was very much like lemon biscotti and this awakened some of my taste buds out of their lazy stupor. Finish was semi-dry, lazy and perfect for a lazy summer day. I'd put some in my cooler if I wasn't feeling so lazy.

Pours a clear yellow golden color with light foamy white head. Cereal grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with cereal and some honey.
