The appearance was to the lighter side of gold with a slight transparency about it. Quickly dissipating little white cap of a head. Mild lace. The aroma had a nice blend of soft sweet biscuits, white bread, mild grassy hops, little bit of earthiness. Ended with a little bit of butterscotch. The flavor cued up the sweetness of the malts to subtly shake in a little bit of spice from the earthiness. Aftertaste was subdued semi-sweet malts. Finish was malty. The palate was almost medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and fairly low key. ABV felt good. Overall, pretty good Maibock, I say and would have again.

Copper in color. Nice malty and bready aroma. This beer is quite full-bodied (perhaps more than the style calls for). The flavor is nicely malty with a finish that provides a quick touch of malty sweetness followed by a smooth dryness.

On-tap at the brewery.
This maibock is on the sweet side, but it's still very drinkable and tasty. There's a lot of fruity ester aroma and flavor. It dominates the beer a bit with a sort of cherry and white grape mixture of fruit. The bready malts are subtle and the small but crisp kiss of hops are quite appropriate. This one's a winner.
