On tap at the BBW (Allentown Brew Works location).
Poured a medium amberish / copper color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of black peppers, lots of ginger, yeast, and fruity. Tastes of the same ginger and pepperiness with some fruitiness.

You know, this reminds me immediately of the other Belgians I've had here for the unusually clean flavor profile. There is Belgian yeast character and it's quite nice - a balanced mix of dates and blackberry esters with heather-like spice. However, it's much too subtle. The malts come through with almost the clarity of a crisp American red ale and that's not Belgian.
A nice, tasty beer, but not Belgian enough for me.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
