A light amber color brew with a thin but full off-white cover and a blanket of lace. The aroma is sweet grapefruit with a vague cotton candy and malty bready undertone. The taste is thick peachy raisin malt and floral hop bitterness with some resin bread. The grapefruit noted in the nose dissipates to something less crisp. It has a midland body, a somewhat viscous feel where drinkability is not great but it is a decent version of the style, well carbonated and pretty well balanced I think. Definitely good but not up there in my absolute wheelhouse. DIPA lovers, me included of course, will be glad to have tried it I'm sure.
