This poured out as a deep brown color with a thin cream colored head on top. The head didn't really have any lacing or retention. The smell of the beer has some light spice notes with a subtle roasted malt aroma. The taste of the beer has a banana and clove flavor to it with a toasted dry aftertaste. The mouthfeel had a sharpness to it that was interesting. It was nicely carbonated and still drinkable. Overall it was a decent brew, not something I'd order again by I was happy to have tried it.

Appears dark, almost chocolate brown with one finger of head that had no retention. The nose is cloves upfront with a mild whiff of cider. There is a subtle caramel sweetness followed by a mild alcohol bite. This offering finishes with a dry and bitter flavor that is sure to please.
