Appearance is a dark brown with two fingers of frothy thick head. The head enjoys fairly good retention. The nose has a touch of roast, but is fairly weak. Frankly, this offering tastes like Guinness Draught with a touch of chocolate. Perhaps, this is a touch unfair, as I think that this has more body and a touch better roast profile than Guinness. The finish also seems to get bitterer as one gets further down the glass.
