Traditional saison, light and very refreshing, sublimed with Brasserie Cantillon lambic. This mixed fermentation brew develops flavours of cereals, floral and herbal accents of noble hops and, thanks to the lambic, an elegant acidity.

A: The beer is a little hazy yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with some lacing on the surface and a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness and funk are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a little sour and funky with hints of floral hops.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly acidic on the palate with a low amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has pleasant amounts of sourness and funk. It is almost like a "lite" version of a gueuze.

On tap at Belmont Station.

A mildly hazy straw yellow with a large, white head, this looks good. On the nose, there's a brilliant hay funk with earth, a touch of pineapple juice, mild lemon/earth hop character. Dry, earthy and with a brilliant Brett expression on the palate, there's a perfect balance of hay and barnyard present. A light but crisp pils malt character lending a light biscuit note. A mild clove note is present as well. Light in body, moderately carbonated, this is an excellent saison.

Draft at The Sovereign in D.C.

Pale sunshine yellow body, medium haze, quarter inch of white head. Aromas of barnyard funk, lemon. Mineral quality with saison-like characteristics. Thin body with low carbonation. Tangy with high drinkability.

This was a fascinating beer. More funk than sour. At first I was repulsed and set it aside in a session of drinking good American sours (Allagash Red, Trillium Super Soak). The funk was too strong. But then after drinking a Cantillon and letting this warm a bit, the funk worked much better.

A: Lightly ester with a touch of spice, funky, earthy and bready with a light sourness.

A: Bright straw color, hazy, with a super frothy white head that has excellent retention.

T: Subtly fruity and lightly spicy coupled with a light earthiness, citrus and faint sourness.

M: Medium-light bodied with moderately light carbonation, faint acidity with a very soft mouth-feel.

O: Solid; the beer has an incredible aromas of a saison well blended with a lambic. However, the taste is much more subdue.

Pours a cloudy, bright golden color with a smaller head, receeding to bubbly lacing pretty quick.

Smells quite juicy, with some lemon pulp and orange zest, accompanied by young herbs and a note of straw.

Has a light, refreshing body with a perfectly nuanced carbonation, which establishes a great balance.

Tastes of slightly funked up oranges at the beginning, turning way dryer very soon. The initial fruitiness of the beer does prevail till the end though, while the Lambic component is marvelously well integrated. It adds a matured quality to the otherwise super fresh tasting beer, which gives depth to the fruits, while not taking over the scenery. Finishes slightly mineralic, dry, with a small amount of wet basement and exotic fruits staying on the palate.

Amazingly tasty, yet not pushing anywhere close too far as for its Lambic presence.

Poured at the Brussels beer fest in August 2017. Pours an opaque yellow with good carbonation. Smell is a crazy mix of saison and lambic. Spicy, yet a bit sour and funky. Getting a lot of earthy notes, bread, and funk. Taste is very subtle, as if the saison and lambic cancel each other out. Not the best taste, to be honest. A bid harsh and salty. Getting some horse's rear and some leather on the taste. Very dry mouthfeel, and a bit sticky.
