On nitro at the Bruery tasting room on 04/04/16.
Opaque pitch black with a one inch tan head that remains as a cap on top and leaves strings of lace. Massive aroma of spent coffee grounds. The flavor is an absolute onslaught of coffee. Thick, oily oozing coffee. Very little beer charateristics at all. I love a solid coffee stout as much as anyone but, this is overkill.

On nitro at the tasting room. Black like a stout with a thin head. Smell is top notch. Great coffee / expression smell with a little chocolate in there too. Taste is a step down from the terrific smell. Very bitter with less of the chocolate back that the nose has. For a nitro stout the mouthfeel is not as smooth as if expect. The bitterness somehow impacts the mouthfeel. Decent overall coffee stout with a great nose.

Pours a dark brownish-black with a ring of a light brown head. Aromas and flavors are coffee forward: like stepping into a coffee shop and smelling everything from roasted beans to fresh brewed coffee to hints of espresso. Mouthfeel is not super thick and I didn't catch any alcohol heat from the 12.7% abv. Really well done coffee stout.

Dark with a creamy looking ring of light brown head. Nose is all roast and coffee. Taste has tons of coffee and toasted malt but a little single note. Feel is ready from the nitro but just a touch thinner than I'd prefer. I'm really just being picky as this is a really good coffee stout.
