French for “goodnight kiss”, this double chocolate cherry stout on nitro features Montmorency tart cherries, vanilla beans and cocoa nibs. It’s like a smooth, liquified truffle that you can nibble on right before bedtime

A: Lots of chocolate, with slightly sweet, rich chocolate-like malts.
A: Totally black color, opaque, with a thin head that quickly forms a ring around the glass.
T: Big, rich dark chocolate, rich slightly sweet chocolate malts, with a light cherry presence. The beer is redolent to chocolate-cherry cake.
M: Full bodied with light carbonation.
O: Very solid; while the beer is not smooth and one would never guess it's on nitro, the beer has a chocolate aroma and flavor that is very chocolate cake-like.

Not a huge fan of cherries, or cherry flavored things, but this was an exception. Extremly good and drinkable. Actually the best beer in our flight. Everything blended together smoothly, and the taste is solid. Lacking much of the tartness, but the cherry, tobacco leaf and chocolate oak flavors makes up for it.

On tap at the Bruery tasting room on 08/07/16.
Stout characteristics are dominant. Mostly cocoa with some coffee and subtle cherry on the finish. On nitro.

Was described as a tart chocolate cherry stout on nitro but the tartness was minimal, if present at all. Fine by me. The resulting beer was deliciously smooth, easy drinking, but richly chocolatey and velvety. The name, btw, is "bissou"; good night kisses.
