I had this as the first beer of a tasting flight from the Bruery in October. . . what year appears to be 2016.
Pours a slightly hazy bronze type of color with 1/2" white head and above average retention. Aroma seemed to go with the ever evolving Vic's secret more than the Enigma and Cashmere. All three of them are tough to pin down as having a real unique profile distinguishable from some of the other hops out there, none of which speak to "juicy" seemingly. Has a little bit of a mild pine but sweet note in the aroma.
Taste is more predictable, getting that grapefruit and pine bitterness. The Enigma hop seems to be just that, throwing curve balls every pitch, a little bit of grape on the back end of mouth feel. Can't figure where else it would come from but for the Enigma. I'll give it to Bruery for making a beer with some underutilized hops. Still had a bitter sting and high carbonation, seemed to be all barley, no wheat or oats in this one. Good not great.

This is a pale ale that really delivers. The Bruery shows its full skill level in going into these kinds of beers. This beer is clear, big, bright and delicious. There is a wonderful balance that make this extremely drinkable and appealing.
