Looks like another review from the October 2016 trip down to the Bruery (amongst others).
Pours a hazy bronzish yellow with 1/4" white head. Big wow on the nose, Nelson hops are so damn good with their dank vegetal hop body odor, but if that wasn't enough, they drop it through even more hippie aromas and put the Mosaic hop with it giving a humid tropical marijuana jungle gym after a 3 hour workout kind of vibe to it.
Taste was damn nice, always thought they do great hoppy things with a lager yeast and this was no different. Its like old school Nelson when it was awesome, but with a lager yeast to give it an even more unique and awesome appeal. Bitter, but there is so much flavor it is a secondary aspect of the beer. Hides alcohol very damn well. Just looking at my notes is pissing me off that this to my knowledge was a one off and never canned. Sure, getting Nelson hops isn't a snap of the fingers, but damn this is good shit. Blows me away that a flight pour was only $1 of this.

Pours a slightly hazy, light golden yellow. The nose is complex with citrus, tropical fruits and a lovely floral bouquet. Biscuity malt and alcohol bring up the rear. Major citrus flavors. Medium body. Fantastic Double IPL.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
