This is the second proper Tripel with basil I've tried out in the last few weeks, and this one takes the cake. The Bruery obviously knows the stye, and it pairs well with a healthy amount of basil flavor hanging around the nose and then the aste of the beer. Finish is light and airy, with an earthy spice too. Not an every day drink, but certainly worth a shot once or twice.

Reviewed as a "pizza beer", not a tripel. Super pale. Just a faint hint of yellow. Smells like tomato sauce seasonings. Tastes vaguely like pizza dough and pizza sauce. Probably as close as you could come to a pizza tasting beer. Unique and surprisingly enjoyable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
