16oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, golden color with a small, fizzy white head of foam. It left little to no lacing. It smelled of guava, lemon, green apple and some caramel. So unbelievably sour on first sip. Lots of guava and lemon.

375ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- pours golden in color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to leave nothing behind
S- huge guava notes on the nose that provide some perfume-like notes, as well as bold tropical notes. Lactic tartness with a hint of oak
T- bold guava notes follows the nose, giving huge tropical notes with some stone fruit and lemon popping through. Mid-palate gives some lactic tartness. The finish more bold juicy guava and just a hint of oak
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a tart, dry finish
O- a guava showcase with high drinkability

L: pours a hazy lemon yellow. almost no head. Flat and still like a good funky sour.
S: Sour fruity smell. The guava is apparent in the scent. Not very intense, it is a subtle sour.
T: Lightly sour. easy to sip. Guava fruit flavor. Mild but tasty. A good sour beer
F: Active and easy across the palatte.
O:. Good sour beer. I like this one.

Intense sour, funk, and fruity guava aromas and flavors. Some wheat and oak as well. Not really true to the Berliner Weiss style at all but I suppose they had to call it something.

Well how about that, two live beer reviews in a row. Probably done in reverse order in an ideal world, but I do what I want. Anyways, I guess going into this, I'm slightly apprehensive, not the world's biggest guava fan by any means, but I don't hate it either. Other than the cranberry/orange frucht, I've really liked all others. I expect this to be better.
Pours a cloudy dull golden color, 1/3" white head. Aroma is very dry woodsy. Smells like a box full of tongue depressors. Popsickle sticks.
Taste drops a neat amount guava, totally dig it right off the bat, for once this isn't a heavy amount of acidity or lemon influence. Tropical sweetness. About a 6.5 on the 10 pt sour scale, maybe a 7.5 for a berliner sour scale, but that is par for the court for the entire frucht series, they're all substantially sour. Its a real clean sour, plenty of guava without being sugary, carbonation appropriate, good wood presence beer. Enjoying it in a 375ml, could crush a 750 myself no problemo.

32 oz crowler- Pours very hazy milk shake like golden with a medium white head that reduces quickly leaving a thin blanket. Aroma is guava, strawberries, apple. The taste is similar, fruits, strawberries, guava, apple, cherries, solid tartness, high medium. Easy drinking summer beer.

L - hazy, opaque golden with deep orange in it's center with a medium offwhite head that dissipates somewhat quickly and leaves behind minimal lacing.
S - funky yeast (somewhat reminds me of some brett) with hints of sweet tropical fruits, sour notes, and hints of oak.
T - guava and yeast funk up front followed by hints of oak and wheat along with a nice sour aftertaste.
F - medium bodied with a medium to high amount of carbonation.
O - An excellent sour that lets the guava and yeast funk shine.
