A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a dense and rocky two finger tan head which is slow to fade and leaves some lacing
S: Smells of blueberries, along with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla with some roasted malts as well. Kinda smells like muffin batter
T: Taste is a little roasty up front before the blueberries, cinnamon, and vanilla come in. Hints of chocolate and coffee with some additional roasted malts and some more blueberries. On the swallow there's more blueberries, muffin batter, cinnamon, and vanilla with some lingering roasted malts, chocolate and coffee.
M: This beer is on the heavier side of medium in body with a slightly silky feel on the palate. Carbonation is a little high and slightly prickly while the beer has a drying finish.
O: Overall this is a pretty neat beer. It has some nice flavors and a good amount of complexity. The blueberry flavor plays well with the base beer. After Lizard of Koz from Founders I tend to be leery of blueberries in a non sour beer but this one pulls it off.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours deep black in color with a one-finger creamy khaki head that reduces to a ring around the edge
S- bold notes of blueberry and cinnamon open it up, followed by notes of chocolate, blueberry muffin batter, fresh pastries & a hint of vanilla
T- cinnamon and vanilla up front, immediately followed by a hit of blueberry. The blueberry has an authentic taste to it, unlike most blueberry beers that tastes almost synthetic. Mid-palate brings out notes of chocolate and vanilla cream. The finish gives more cinnamon and blueberry that lingers
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns into a slightly creamy finish
O- possibly the best blueberry flavor I've had in a stout, well done

Had on tap. Light black body with a tan foam ring. Smells like a blueberry muffin: blueberry, cinnamon sugar, sweetbread, and vanilla. Taste captures the depth of the breadiness of the muffin really well, with good blueberry cinnamon and vanilla supporting. But, but, but, the flavors start to cancel into a breadiness almost like oat. Feel is terrifyingly booze free given the abv, with very smooth textures and a kick of cinnamon. The wife liked it

A blueberry muffin in a can! Imperial stout with blueberry, vanilla and cinnamon. All adjuncts are balanced to perfection! Wasn’t expecting too much of this one, but was pleasantly surprised. A very deceptive, drinkable 10.5%. Very enjoyable!
