It's the beer everyone's always wanted, and only you can have. We selected a few of our favorite bourbon barrels filled with Black Tuesday and added fresh vanilla beans-and only vanilla beans- directly into the barrels for this variant.

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a half finger of light tan head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of huge and intense vanilla notes with some molasses, dark chocolate, and bourbon barrel hiding in the background
T: Taste is a huge smooth vanilla note up front that just takes hold and just refuses to let go. Chocolate and roasted malts struggle to make any headway against this vanilla bomb. There's just a little bit of oak and some faint coffee but this is just so vanilla forward that it's pretty much all she wrote. On the swallow we get some of that dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and oak but it's all still intertwined with those huge vanilla notes that linger the longest.
M: This beer is fairly full bodied with a slightly silky feel on the palate. Carbonation is on the lower end but you can tell that it's there which is about all I want out of it in this beer. Given the ABV the dry finish on this one is no surprise.
O: Overall this beer is just lights out. Just an incredible amount of vanilla flavor packed into this bottle. The complexity suffers a little for it but it's just so rich and decadent you don't care too much. I want this to come back again.

375mL bottle acquired through The Bruery’s Society. No bottling date, released April 2018. Served in a Bruery teku. Enjoyed 10/15/18.

Pours a dark chocolate brown with a short sandy tan head. The cap fizzles away quickly. After a while all retention is completely gone, not even revived by a swirl of the glass.

There’s no doubt about it- this smells like Black Tuesday with a discernible vanilla note. Dark fruity Bruery yeast, fudge, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, oak and a tingly cool tickle of alcohol. It smells fantastic.

Tastes boozey hot and sweetly delicious. Bourbon soaked vanilla beans, rum raisin fudge, wet oak, cooked caramel and brown sugar. Despite the relentless alcohol heat there is so much decadent flavor here that it goes down much easier than might be expected.

Fairly full feel with low carbonation. The alcohol heat persists into the finish, giving the impression of a thoroughly bourbon-soaked blend of fudge and creme brûlée.

The Bruery delivers a delicious rendition of Black Tuesday. It’s awesome seeing a variant like this in a bottle, seeing as I’m way out on the East coast and would otherwise never get to try some of the treatments seen at the Black Tuesday release events.

375ml bottle poured into a tulip

A- pours a deep brown color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention

S- plenty of booze on the nose, as expected, along with notes of cocoa & burnt brownies. Undertones of bourbon barrel, the vanilla imparts a soft vanilla cream aroma

T- sweet and malty up front with bold notes of cocoa, followed by molasses, brown sugar and caramel. Mid-palate brings out some oaky barrel notes. The finish gives notes of vanilla cream and marshmallow and lingers of boozy malt

M- medium thick body with moderate carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and a warming boozy finish

O- the vanilla is a nice addition to the BT and surprisingly noticeable, even against such a bold beer

375ml bottle into a snifter appears a dark cola brown with clarity around the edges and an off-white head that fades quick.

It is anise upfront almost cola smelling with slight roast and vanilla sweetness emerging.

It tastes sweet initially but becomes crazy boozy and solvent once it comes to rest in your mouth. I dont taste any vanilla perse but there is a cola and anise feel to this which I dont normally find in regular black tuesday.

This is medium in body with a light amount of carbonation. This shit is a hot mess. Call me a jerk but there is nothing special about this. Its a hot batch of BT with not enough vanilla to make a difference.
