Crowler picked up at the DC location appears a clear mahogany color with khaki head that fades quick.
It smells of sweet caramel, tons of maple and fruity raison-like alcohol.
The taste is maple heavy, herbal bitterness, boozey with raisons and lingering alcohol burn.
This is full bodied and lightly carbonated. Holy crap they didnt skimp out on the maple addition, this beer is like drinking maple syrup straight from the bottle and chasing it with a shot of bourbon.
