A: poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a dense finger of dark tan head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing. Surprising amount of nucleation from this beer.
S: Smells of chocolate, roasted malts, and bourbon barrels with some vanilla and coconut along with a touch of coffee
T: Taste is huge vanilla up front with some coconut, chocolate comes in as well along with a touch of coffee and roasted malts. Huge smack of bourbon barrel with some oak notes and a touch of caramel. Slightly boozy with a hint of molasses. On the swallow there's more chocolate, oak, coconut, vanilla, and molasses with the vanilla lingering the longest.
M: This beer is fairly full bodied with a soft and slightly syrupy feel on the palate. Carbonation is on the light side but adequate for the style and ABV while the beer has a slightly drying finish.
O: Overall this beer is awesome. I'm pretty sure the base is entirely Black Tuesday. The amount of flavor and complexity on this beer is very nice. It's definitely one to be sipped and savored though as it is fairly high in ABV. I'd like to see this one come around again.

375ml bottle poured into a teku
A- pours brown in color with some light creeping through, small foamy khaki colored head has short retention
S- bold coconut and vanilla with a creamy milky lactose to complement. Undertones of bourbon barrel, chocolate and tons of booze
T- lots of vanilla up front with an authentic coconut note coming through, mid-palate brings out typical BT notes, chocolate, dark fruits, super sweet malts, molasses. The finish brings out some oaky bourbon notes and a big hit of booze. Lingers of dark fruits, vanilla and booze
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy and oily mouthfeel that finishes warming and boozy
O- the vanilla and coconut really come through, making for a solid BT variant

375mL bottle acquired through The Bruery’s Society. No bottling date, released June 2018. Served in a Bruery teku. Enjoyed 10/9/18.
Pours a deep, dark tea brown but rests in the glass practically black. The short initial head crackles away quickly. Neither retention nor lace decorate the glass.
The signature aromas of Black Tuesday are immediately apparent but the macaroon adjuncts don’t take long to become noticeable. Notes of Bruer’s yeast, bourbon, dark fruit, toasted coconut, vanilla, chocolate milk, wet wood and caramel. This smells fantastic.
Decadent, boozey flavor abounds here. Bourbon-drenched coconut cake, dark fruity Bruery yeast, spirit soaked oak, vanilla liqueur, creme de cocoa, caramel. Its all doused with an inescapable alcohol heat and its utterly delicious.
Syrupy, full feel with restrained carbonation. Boozey hot coconut bourbon fudge in the finish.
This is an outstanding variation of Black Tuesday. Coconut Macadoom adds some impressively authentic macaroon character to an already flavorful brew. I’m really digging these small batch releases!
